Get a Golden Glow in time for New Year’s Eve!

Step One: Hair Removal
Thick hair will prohibit the even application of the bronzer crème, which is why you’ll want to remove all unwanted hair before application. If you shave, make sure to allow time for your pores to close up first. Applying bronzer crème to freshly shaved legs will only create unsightly dark spots.

Step Two: Exfoliate
Exfoliation is bronzing rule number one. You want to apply bronzer to clean skin that has been thoroughly exfoliated. Dry skin will soak up the bronzer, leaving you with dark patches that look anything but natural. For the body, use the Body Spa Exfoliating Body Scrub. Massage the scrub all over your body, paying close attention to the elbows, knees and ankles. For the face, use an exfoliating cleanser such as the Ageless Total Facial Cleanser, which uses glycolic acid to gently and effectively slough off dead skin cells, allowing for a smooth and even application.

Step Three: Dry Off
This may seem obvious, but make sure your skin is perfectly dry. You don’t want to apply bronzer to damp skin, as this will only cause an uneven application.

Step Four: Apply Bronzer
The Body Spa Face and Body Bronzing Crème is a rich moisturising crème for both the face and body. The colour builds gradually, creating a natural, sunless golden shimmer without the unpleasant smell, streaking, or worse, leaving you looking like an Oompa-Loompa. Apply a small amount of bronzer to the entire body, like you would lotion, starting at the legs and working your way up to your face. Taking special care around the knees, ankles and elbows, and be sure to blend thoroughly.

Step Five: Wash Your Hands
Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands when you’ve finished applying your bronzing crème. Lacing your fingers while washing will ensure all product is removed from between your fingers where product can sometimes be tricky to remove. Dry hands thoroughly and allow for a few minutes to pass, making sure the bronzer ha penetrated evenly all over the skin and is dry. Voila!
