Peel Power
Professional Beauty Magazine with the help of one of Sydney’s leading clinic owners – Sofia Amirova of Amirova Cosmetic Clinic – has released the top 7 beauty treatments that will be in demand in 2020!
“In-clinic skin peels are growing in popularity because they’re a relatively quick and easy way for people to instantly improve their skin. In addition, unlike many traditional facials, peels deliver visible results and are often a more affordable option than technology-based treatments.” – Sofia Amirova, owner of Amirova Cosmetic Clinic
We all remember Samantha Jones’ peel-fail in Sex and the City, but don’t let that scare you off – peels are nothing to be afraid of, and when done correctly, they deliver high-impact results.
I Peel
Our signature chemical peels help reverse the visible effects of damage on the skin in two ways – first, they power away dull, dead cells to illuminate the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, clogged powers and blemishes. Next, they give your skin a collagen boost for firmer-looking skin.

Our Peel Pro Tips
Stick with a series
When it comes to peels, a single treatment is great, but a series is even better! You can think of peels like a work out – results come with consistency, repetition and dedication. A series allows your skin to receive the beneficial ingredients more readily, and by targeting specific skin conditions they can help you reach your long-term skin goals.
Commit to aftercare (and prep, too!)
Proper pre- and post-procedure care ensures you get the best results from your chemical or enzyme peel, and your therapist will be able to offer you the products needed to boost your results.
Some skin types have a tendency to be extra sensitive to the sun after a peel, which can result in hyperpigmentation and dark spots if proper sun protection isn’t used. Using a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB moisturiser like Prevention+ is vital for protecting the skin from damaging UV rays, and we also recommend using a gentle cleanser that won’t aggravate freshly exfoliated skin and avoiding any retinol-based products for up to seven days post-peel.

Building a long-term relationship with an industry professional that you trust is essential to your peel success!
